Chief Executive Dave Edmundson has been speaking to the Burnley Supporters groups with regard to the financial problems facing the club, reports the Clarets mad website.
He spoke passionately and positively to an initially silenced meeting and stressed the need for supporters to get behind the club as much as possible and to get out there and try and get others onto the Turf for the forthcoming matches.
The club are facing a financial shortfall with the critical time in February and need as much support as they can get. The group representatives are ready for the fight and will do what they can to help the club.
There were a number of suggestions and the group will be meeting again in two weeks time where they will be looking at options with one long term option set to come under discussion.
Last week Clarets Mad asked the fans to get behind the club and give as much support as it possibly could. Both money and points are needed and now more than ever the fans need to get to the games and support the club.
The consequence of not doing so would be another of our eldest football clubs going to administration in order to keep the club alive.
